A workshop on entrepreneurship and open innovations was held on 21.10.2020 in Sofia Tech Park. This was the first event of the Media and Creative Industries Innovation Hub in Sofia, set in the program for the period 2020 – 2021. The program was developed by the Sofia City of Knowledge Cluster with the assistance of cluster members and was implemented in the frame of the MediaMotorEurope Project.
It was coordinated with the Sofia Tech Park, the Bulgarian Association of Industrial Capital in Bulgaria and the Investment Council of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organizations that support the MME Innovation Hub initiative.
32 experts, mentors, investors and entrepreneurs took part in the workshop, which was held in the conditions of Covid-19.
Marian Marinov, Business Development Director of Sofia Tech Park presented the strategy and conditions available in the Techpark to provide a real support to innovators, science, researchers, entrepreneurs and start-ups from the deep-tech industry.
Milena Koleva and Deian Doikov, mentors at the Innovation Hub in Sofia discussed the topic of the usefulness and practical applicability for businesses of the concept of open innovation, standards and tools for innovation management at the company level.
The following entrepreneurs, all of which are applicants to Call 2 of the mentoring programme in the MediaMotorEurope Project had the opportunity to talk about the successes and challenges of their innovative companies:

During the networking session, participants received brief information on the results of the completed Call 1 for the MediaMotorEurope mentoring program and were invited to participate and disseminate the second call (Call 2), which will be open till October 30.
